Our Story
Philippe Accad and his sister Evelyne decided to start BPI in December of 1995 to honor their parents, Suzanne and Fouad Accad, who dedicated their entire life to helping others. They rallied another sister, Jacqueline, brothers Lucien and Andre, and children, nephews, and nieces to help build the organization. Their nephew, Attorney David Hajjar, registered it in Washington DC, and Bridges Of Peace International was given the certificate of Incorporation on April 2nd, 1996 as a non-for-profit. In February 2016 they incorporated BPI in Colorado Springs as well as keeping it in DC. They have been diligently helping the poor, the abused, and the addicted in Lebanon and throughout the United States.
